For several years, Tailor Made Textiles had successfully operated out of a unique Brooklyn space that offered something increasingly difficult to find in Manhattan: character without the premium price tag. When the company decided it was time to make the move into Manhattan, they did not want to leave that identity behind.
The goal was not simply to find an office. Tailor Made wanted a space that felt creative, distinctive, and authentic while still making financial sense. The ideal location needed to have the personality of their Brooklyn space, avoid the feel of a traditional corporate office, and come at an economics that would make the move worthwhile.

The search led Tailor Made Textiles to 333 Hudson Street, a property that checked the boxes both financially and creatively. Located in a quieter section of Tribeca, the building offered a neighborhood atmosphere that felt removed from the traditional Manhattan office environment while still providing the advantages of a Manhattan location.
Inside, the space had the character Tailor Made was looking for, with hardwood floors and a lobby that felt more like a museum than a conventional office building. Just as importantly, the structure of the long-term lease gave the company the flexibility to make improvements and customize the space to fit the way they wanted to work.
Instead of forcing Tailor Made into a standard office environment, 333 Hudson gave them a foundation they could make their own. In many ways, the space was quite literally tailor-made for them.
Tailor Made Textiles made the transition from Brooklyn to Manhattan without sacrificing the qualities that made their original space special. They secured a distinctive Tribeca location with character, flexibility, and the opportunity to create an environment that reflects the company and its work.
The move gave Tailor Made the Manhattan presence they were looking for while maintaining the creative feel and individuality that had been important to them from the beginning. Rather than simply upgrading their address, they found a space that allowed the company to bring its Brooklyn personality with it.
