After more than 20 years in the same office, Artists Rights Society faced the significant task of finding a new headquarters that could support its next chapter without sacrificing the character that had become part of its identity. As an organization representing artists and their work, the company wanted a space that reflected creativity rather than a conventional corporate environment.
The search required more than simply finding enough square footage. The new office needed to accommodate employees, provide room for client artwork and meetings, and remain easily accessible for staff. Most importantly, the space had to feel inspiring and distinctive, offering an atmosphere that aligned with the organization's mission instead of a traditional office setting.

Artists Rights Society ultimately selected a penthouse loft at 404-408 West 14th Street in Manhattan's Meatpacking District. The building offered the perfect balance of functionality and character, combining the infrastructure needed for day-to-day operations with architectural features that created a unique working environment.
The space features hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, timber columns, soaring ceilings, oversized windows overlooking West 14th Street, and two private terraces. Winter Management also modified the existing layout and delivered the space with fresh paint, allowing the office to better accommodate the company's operational needs while preserving the building's distinctive loft aesthetic.
Artists Rights Society signed a new direct lease for more than five years, successfully relocating after over two decades at its previous location. The new office provides a creative environment that supports both employees and clients while reflecting the organization's artistic identity.
Rather than settling for a standard office, the company secured a space that offers the flexibility to showcase its work, collaborate with clients, and continue growing in a location that complements its brand. The move demonstrates how the right office can serve not only as a workplace, but also as an extension of a company's culture and values.
